By 2020, 80% of the worlds internet traffic will be video. After consultation with Facebook Creative Shop on social media strategy, San Francisco based style start-up Boon + Gable knew they needed to start testing video as part of their online marketing strategy.
To create a series of light-weight, feed-proof videos that Boon + Gable could test as part of their paid social media strategy. Using existing assets and mobile-first video principles, could we transform the way potential customers understand and engage with the brands message?
Five feed-proof concepts and videos were developed using a selection of existing brand and video assets.
These aligned with mobile storytelling best practice principles including:
– Prioritising clear key-messages
– Branding upfront
– Thumb-stopping visuals
– Use the real estate - square and vertical videos
– Capture attention in the first 3 seconds
